HiBeac is a utility that allows users to add Bluetooth LE Beacon Regions to its list and notify a server upon entry and exit of certain regions. It also displays a list of Beacons in range along with stats about the proximity and reception quality. This tool can be used to trigger certain actions on a device like a Raspberry Pi when the user enters/leaves a region. Actions could be disabling/enabling an alarm or a remote-controlled light-switch ("Home Automation"). Features: Send different key/value POST-Requests to a HTTP(S)-URL when you leave or enter a region. Display stats about Beacons like proximity, reception and when it has been last seen. Background Monitoring: This app monitors for regions in the background using the low-power Bluetooth LE standard. Get Notifications when you leave/enter a region.
Requires iOS 7.1 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
